Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Nucore Asphalt & Concrete is a business name of Nucore Construction Inc. ("Nucore," "we," "our" or "us"), an asphalt and concrete contractor based in London, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit nucoreconstruction.ca, ask us for a quote or hire us for a project, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
The short version
- We collect what we need to quote, schedule and complete your project, and to run this website.
- We don't sell or rent your personal information.
- Our website uses analytics and advertising cookies. You can block or delete them in your browser.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, phone number, email address and the address of the property where the work would be done.
- Project details: the type of work, measurements, notes and photos you send us or that we take during a site visit or while the job is underway.
- Quote, job and payment records: estimates, contracts, invoices and payment status. We don't store full credit card numbers. Card payments are handled by our payment provider or bank.
- Messages: emails, texts, voicemails and anything you write in our forms.
- Website information: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you found us (for example a Google search, an ad or the QR code on one of our lawn signs) and clicks on our phone number and quote forms. This is collected through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, visit your property and prepare a quote.
- To schedule, complete and invoice your project, and to follow up on it afterwards, including warranty work.
- To keep the records we need for tax, accounting, insurance, safety and legal reasons.
- To ask how we did and invite you to leave a review.
- To understand how people use our website and which ads and listings bring in enquiries, so we can improve them.
- To send you seasonal reminders or offers, but only if you've agreed to receive them. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, as Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation requires.
Who we share it with
We share only what each party needs to do its job:
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, scheduling and customer management software, email and phone providers, and accounting and payment services.
- Analytics and advertising platforms, including Google (Analytics, Ads and Business Profile) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
- Subcontractors and suppliers working on your project, for example a line painting crew that needs the site address and access details.
- Professional advisers and authorities, such as our accountant, lawyer or insurer, or a government body when the law requires it.
Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessed by courts, law enforcement and national security authorities under local law.
Cookies and similar tools
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to measure how it's used (Google Analytics), and to measure and show our ads (Google Ads, and Meta when we run ads there). You can opt out at any time by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings, installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or changing your ad settings in your Google account and on Facebook and Instagram. The website will still work if you block cookies, although some features may not.
Your consent
When you contact us, fill in a form or book a site visit, you consent to us collecting and using your information for the purposes in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits. If you do, we may not be able to quote or complete your project.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests that don't go ahead for up to 24 months. We keep job, contract and invoice records for as long as we need them for warranty purposes, and at least as long as the Canada Revenue Agency requires, which is generally six years from the end of the tax year they relate to. After that, we securely delete or destroy them.
How we protect it
Only people who need your information to do their work can access it. We use password-protected accounts, reputable service providers that maintain their own security safeguards, and secure disposal of paper and digital records. If a breach of our safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we'll notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as PIPEDA requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, withdraw your consent, or delete information we no longer need. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
